The Truth of the Dictatorship
(1939-1945)
The kinds of atrocities committed during the National Socialist era were marked by an enormous level of irrationality. But how did such a phenomenon come about?
Out of reverence for the dictatorial government, civilians quite literally forgot to express their thoughts freely. Oppressed by their own homeland, like a dagger stuck in one’s back—one that cannot be removed.
The tactic and analytical planning prevailed. Some believe it to have been a sophisticated strategic move to make such immoral decisions.
Human beings strive for greatness and recognition, and in doing so, it does not matter who stands in their way. For one thing is certain: humans will use all the power at their disposal to eliminate any enemy—no matter how grotesque the means may be.
